The trek passes through Langtang National Park, ensuring pristine countryside and flora and fauna, as well as yak pastures and even home-based cheese factories! Himalayan pheasants, Himalayan deer, Himalayan bears, monkeys, and the elusive red panda, are native to this region.
Langtang Village was completely destroyed during the April 2015 earthquake. The resilient locals have, however, been busy rebuilding and some teahouses and lodges have been rebuilt and are open. The best way for people to help is to continue to visit this area.

Day 01: Arrive Kathmandu
Arrive Kathmandu, the beautiful capital city of Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal.Upon clearing airport formalities, transfer to your hotel, Evening briefing about the trekking at hotel lobby. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 02: Drive Kathmandu-Sybru Besi (200 KM/ 7-8 Hours drive) 1462 Meters by Bus
Breakfast and check out from hotel and drive to Dhunche which takes about 6-7 hours by bus or Land cruiser depending on group size. Along the way driving through scenic foothills and ridgeline vistas to Syabru Besi passing through Dhunche. While passing along the road at the bank of Trishuli river you catch a glimpse of Ganesh Himal, terraces and green hills. Terraced green hills and lush forests make the drive very pleasurable. Parts of the road though may be bumpy and under construction. Overnight at hotel.
Day 03: Syabru to Lamal hotel (2500M) 5-6 Hours
After breakfast start trek to Lama Hotel and the first part of the trail crosses through the Bhote Koshi river and follows the Langtang Khola. This trail gradually ascends up to Bamboo (1,960m) passing rugged paths. Afterwards, your trek climbs gently to Rimche (2,400m) through Bamboo which lies at the bank of Langtang Khola. You can have lunch at this place if you like and at the end your trail is the Lama Hotel. En route you could see red pandas, monkeys and bears if you are lucky. Overnight at a guesthouse.
Day 04: Trek to Langtang Village (3307M) 5-6 hours
After breakfast, start the trek route follows Gumanechok at Ghoda Tabela which literally means the Horse Stable. After this the trail climbs gradually to the beautiful valley with yaks about. Langtang is a typical village and one of the oldest along this trekking route. The views of the mountains are spectacular and become more imposing as well trek closer. Overnight at a guest house.
Day 05: Trek to Kyaijin Gompa (3798 M/ 4-5 hours)
After breakfast, It is shorter walk today, but adequate for acclimatizing. There are some interesting things to explore, especially the famous cheese factory – don’t forget to try some locally produced cheese as fresh as it could get. This beautiful valley is on the lap of the Langtang Lirung. This is the spot where we can explore the valley and climbs several small peaks (hillocks). Overnight at a guesthouse.
Day 06: Kyanjin Gompa exploration day)
You will be exploring the area around. You can visit the monastery and the cheese factory, walk up the moraine to see the spectacular ice faces and tumbling glaciers of Langtang Lirung or ascend Kyangjin Ri (4,350m) which is the highest point of this trek, directly behind the village, for a breath-taking panorama of the Langtang peaks. Overnight at a guesthouse.
Day 07: Trek to down to Lama Hotel (2500 M) 5-6 hours
After breakfast, trek down to Lama Hotel and over night in the lodge.
Day 08: Trek to Syabru Besi (1462 M) 4-5 hours
After breakfast we trek down to Syabru and overnight on the Lodge. Overnight at hotel.
Day 09: Drive back to Kathmandu from Sybru Besi (185 Kms /7-8 Hrs)
After breakfast, drive back to Kathmandu. Check in at Hotel. In the evening, enjoy dinner at a local restaurant with Nepalese cultural performance.
Day 10: Depart Kathmandu
After breakfast, transfer to the airport to catch your flight for onward destination.
leisurely Adventures (Grade 2)
These treks generally involve 5 to 6 hours walking per day on average. Any active person can easily participate on these trips and any reasonably fit person will find them exhilarating. For preparation, we recommend a program of sports or aerobic activities (cycling, swimming, etc.) minimum of 2 to 4 weeks before departure. Remember that the fitter you are, the more you'll enjoy the adventure.
Moderate Adventures (Grade 3)
These are moderate treks involving 6 hours plus walking on certain days. Any reasonably active person should be able to manage these trips, provided they do not suffer any medical conditions affected by strenuous exercise. For preparation, we recommend a program of sports or aerobic activities (cycling, swimming, etc.) minimum of 4 to 6 weeks before departure.
Adventurous Trips ( Grade 4 )
These are harder treks. They are within the capabilities of most people but you must quite fit before departure. Older people, particularly over the age of 50, must prepare themselves well and should not consider joining these trips if fitness is not an important routine of their normal life. Those with high blood pressure, asthma and heart conditions should not participate on these trips. We recommend a program of sports or aerobic activities (cycling, stair walking, running ) minimum of 6 to 8 weeks before departure.
