Day 2, Full Day Sightseeing in Kathmandu
Breakfast at Hotel, Proceed to Kathmandu Durbar Square is heart of old city Kathmandu in Basantapur. There are around 50 temples in the vicinity including the temple of titular deity, Taleju Bhawani. Important ceremonies, including the coronation of the Nepali monarch. After Kathmandu Durbarsquare we proceed to Pashupati Nath Temple, One of the biggest Hindu Shirine. As the literal meaning of “Pashupatinath” is lord of all the animals of the universe, it is supposed to have control over all the living beings, human and non human alike. There are many temples surrounding the Pashupati Area and the most important place is the crimination place where you can see how Hindu criminates their body.
Boudha Nath Stupa is the one of the oldest and the biggest Buddhist monuments built in Nepal in 5th century. Day 3, Full Day Bhaktapur Durbarsquare & Patan Durbarsquare
Breakfast at Hotel; after breakfast proceeds to Bhaktapur which was the former capital of the valley, and was once a flourishing city on the trade route to Tibet. Today, Bhaktapur is like an open air museum with large areas open to pedestrian access - it is a store house of mediaeval art and architecture. Interesting places to explore include the renowned Durbar square, Golden Gate at the Palace of 55 Windows, Potters square which houses the elephant headed Lord Ganesha temple who is believed to be the patron of potters in Nepal. Bhaktapur houses a variety of Hindu and Buddhist temples including Nepal’s largest Shiva Linga. You may also see artisans engaged in Bhaktapur’s traditional crafts of pottery and weaving.
Afternoon visit the Patan Durbar Square. Patan is known for its museum, temples and superb craftsmanship of its artisans. Patan Durbar Square has been acclaimed as one of the finest urban streetscapes in the world.
In the evening, enjoy dinner at a local restaurant with Nepalese cultural performance.
Day 4, Departure from Kathmandu
Option for Scenic Flight over Mount Everest: Nepal offers the unique experience of scenic mountain flights over the world’s highest peak, Mount Everest. Early this morning, you have the option to enjoy spectacular views of the snow capped Mount Everest and Himalayan ranges, aboard a small plane, with every seat having its own window!
