Our Kathmandu and Pokhara Tour begins with an exploration of the medieval city of Kathmandu followed by a fabulous trip to the Lake City of Pokhara. In our 8-day tour we enjoy the cultural marvels and discover ancient Hindu and Buddhist relics in the Kathmandu Valley with visits to several UNESCO World Heritage Sites scattered around the city. Next, we visit Nagarkot, a small town known for its excellent views of the Himalayas. In Pokhara, we visit the famous Davis fall, Shiva cave, Fewa Lake and many other natural and cultural wonders. While here we also get to experience the magic of the Himalayas with Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges looming closeby. After the pokhara we will head toward the Chitwan exploring the natural beauty and experence flora na fauna.Chitwan is one of 77 districts of Nepal, and is located in the southwestern part of Province No. 3 with Bharatpur, the fourth largest city of Nepal, as its district headquarters.

Day 1, Arrival in Kathmandu

Meet at Kathmandu International Airport by our representative. Transfer to Hotel and check in. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 2, Full Day Sightseeing in Kathmandu

Breakfast at Hotel, Proceed to Kathmandu Durbar Square is heart of old city Kathmandu in Basantapur. There are around 50 temples in the vicinity including the temple of titular deity, Taleju Bhawani. Important ceremonies, including the coronation of the Nepali monarch. Kumari (living Goddess) , she will be appeared form the window from 11:00 Am to 12-noon the morning and evening at 4 Pm-5:30 PM and we believes that she will bless to the people for their long live, health & wealth.

After Kathmandu Durbarsquare we proceed to Pashupati Nath Temple, One of the biggest Hindu Shirine. As the literal meaning of “Pashupatinath” is lord of all the animals of the universe, it is supposed to have control over all the living beings, human and non human alike. There are many temples surrounding the Pashupati Area and the most important place is the crimination place where you can see how Hindu criminates their body.

Boudha Nath Stupa is the one of the oldest and the biggest Buddhist monuments built in Nepal in 5th century. The site is considered very much like Mecca for the Tibetan Buddhists and every year tens of thousands of pilgrims from all over the Himalayan region visit the stupa. Afternoon, free for Shopping. Overnight at Kathmandu.

Day 3: Kathmandu-Pokhara 210 KM 6-7 Hours drive

Breakfast at hotel,  Check out from Hotel and drive to Pokhara which is approx 200  from Kathmandu. Check in at Hotel drive to Pokhara. Check in at hotel. Evening walk to lake side and visit few lake and can boat ride. Overnight at Pokhara.

Day 4: Half Day City tour in Pokhara

   Early morning Drive to Sarangkot to see the Himalaya view and Sun rise view. After Sarangkot drive back to hotel for breakfast. Proceed to Half Day City tour to Bindabasini Temple, Seti Gandaki River Gorge, Old town, Devi’s fall ,Gupteshowr

Cave, Tibetan Camp. and One hour Boat Ride on Fewa Lake.
Afternoon free & easy. Overnightat Pokhara.

Day 5: Drive from Pokhara to Chitwan

Breakfast at Hotel, Check out and drive to Chitwan, which is about 150 KM and it takes 4-5 hours frive from Lumbini. Upon arrival check in at Resort. After Lunch Visit to Tharu Village, Evening Tharu Stick Dance at Hotel. Dinner and Overnight at Chitwan.

Day 6: Full day Jungle activities in Chitwan

Breakfast at Hotel, Proceed for Jungle Safari, Elephant ride, Bird Watching, real canoe ride, Elephant Breeding centre visit.  Dinner and Overnight at Chitwan.

Day 7: Drive to Kathmandu from Chitwan

Breakfast at Hotel,  Check out from Hotel and drive back to Kathmandu. Which is 140 KM from Chitwan to Kathmandu and approximately 5-6 hour drive. Due to construction of the Road extension project in between Narayangadh and Mugling it may take longer to reach Kathmandu.

Evening Fare well Dinner with Nepalese cultural show.Overnight at Kathmandu.

Day 8: Departure from Kathmandu

Breakfast at Hotel, Free for Shopping until transfer to Airport for the flight back to destination.

    • Fill in ' Arrival Card '
    • Fill in Online ‘Tourist Visa ‘form ( you can fill it up  prior to your arrival  visiting our official website  Department of Immigration / fill it up using Kiosk machines upon your arrival at the airport).  If you fill it from the website, you will get submission Receipt with barcode, please print it out and bring it along for acquiring visa. It works for fifteen days and becomes invalid then after.  If so, you will have to fill it up again.

    • Make payment  at the bank according to your visa requirement ( 15/30/90 Days)
    • Get the receipt

While you can use different modes of payments (at visa fees collection counter), we advise you to carry some cash to be on the safe side.

    • Proceed to the Immigration Desk with your online form,  payment receipts and your passport
    • Hand in your documents to immigration officer for visa processing. He/she issues visa to you upon his/her satisfaction.

 

Gratis Visa (Visa for Free)

Gratis Visa is issued free of cost in case of following categories of Visa applicants:

  • Children below 10 years
  • Up to 30 days for SAARC Citizen (except Afghanistan) visiting Nepal for the first time in a given visa Year.  Afghan citizen are eligible for Gratis Visa on Arrival only upon the recommendation of Department of Immigration. If you are an Afghan citizen, you can request concerned institution inviting you to Nepal for necessary paperwork with Department of Immigration to get you Gratis Visa 'On Arrival'.
  • Non Residential Nepalese(NRN) card holder ( issued by MoFA /Nepalese diplomatic missions abroad)
  • Chinese Nationals

Officials from China, Brazil, Russia and Thailand do not need Entry Visa based on reciprocal visa waiver Agreement

Visas of all kinds including ‘Gratis’ issued at the Airport are Tourist Visas. Contact Department of Immigration for extending your visa or changing the category of your visa. Tourist Visa extension can be done from Immigration Office, Pokhara too. Non tourist visa extension can be done only at Department of Immigration (if eligible) for a period of maximum one year (except business visa).
